A three day long regional workshop was held in Maryland in July, 2025. Helena Arouca and Mary Jane Sasser headed the weekend gathering. Mary DiLibero, Mitsue Johnson and Marcelo Dos Santos did demonstrations.
A special exhibition was held at the Los Angeles Johrei Center in June, with Ikebana arranged by Margot Vellve. Margot is the daughter of the late Reverend Henry and Michi Ajiki of Tucson Arizona. The treasured Ikebana vessels had been stored in Tucson for many years, but the Ajikis never told Margot about them. Most of them are antiques from Japan.
