Sangetsu combines the art of nature with the creativity of the artist. Using flowers, branches and greens of the season, students compose arrangements using, head, heart and hand. The result is flower arrangements that radiate beauty and healing to be shared with family, friends and community.

Our goal is to help create an ideal world where beauty is manifested in its entirety, in our daily lives. In order to achieve this, we believe it is vitally important to raise everyone's consciousness through the beauty of flowers. We should be able to have contact with beauty more easily, without limitations of time or expense.

What we wish to offer as the best way for the spreading of beauty is to encourage people to cultivate, distribute and arrange flowers. It begins by decorating the rooms in our homes and work places with flower arrangements. Our aim is to bring about a time when flowers will be seen in every place, so wherever people go they will see and enjoy flowers.

To have even a single flower in one corner of an office or on a desk in a study would certainly freshen the atmosphere. Ideally, flower arrangements should be placed in all public institutions.

If the world changes so that wherever there are people there are flowers, the negativity of today's world will be alleviated considerably.
